About the Case:
On July 9, 2011, at approximately 0150 hours, officers were dispatched to a shooting that just occurred at 1001 Carolina Street. It was reported that Hunter was struck in the chest with a bullet that came in through the kitchen window while she was looking outside. Hunter had been to a party earlier in the evening with friends and family. After she came home, she was shot and later died from her injuries.
