About the Case:
On Wednesday, September 8, 1993, Henrico Police Officers were approached by a civilian who had located an unknown black male lying in the ditch on Evergreen Road at the Henrico County line. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene and transported to the Medical Examiner's Office for examination. The victim was later identified as Roberto Francisco Mesquitta. The cause of death was determined to be from a gunshot wound.
