About the Case:
On Thursday, August 15, 1996, the victim, Jerry Washington, was sitting in the living room of a friend’s apartment located at 1611 Virden Ct., Darbytown Apartments. At approximately 11:45 pm, shots were fired indiscriminately through the backdoor into the living room area striking the victim. The victim was pronounced deceased by attending emergency personnel. The victim was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office for evaluation. The cause of death was determined to be gunshot wounds.
