About the Case:
On December 10, 2011, at approximately 6:10 AM, Officers of the Newport News Police Department responded to the 600 block of 34th Street in reference to a possible shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the body of a female lying face down on the side walk, victim of an apparent homicide. Earlier in the evening the victim was reported to have been involved in a verbal altercation with other patrons inside of Lloyd`s Restaurant on Jefferson Ave. Witnesses heard what sounded like a group of subjects arguing prior to the shooting.
