Terrence Montgomery was last seen by family on Saturday, July 30, 1988. Montgomery was reported missing on August 8, 1988, by his father. On Monday December 19, 1988, a decomposed body was found approximately 15 to 20 feet off the roadway on Copeland Road by workers. The body was positively identified as Montgomery. The medical examiner determined he was the victim of criminal violence and had been deceased for about four to five months when he was found.
