About the Case:

Trevor Lamont Casper was reported missing by his wife in the City of Chesapeake in May 2002. On Aug. 24, 2002, in the 200 block of Buckhorn Drive, a resident discovered a decomposing body in the woods off of an unmarked trail. The deceased was identified as Casper using dental records and fingerprints. The medical examiner determined Casper had suffered multiple injuries and classified him as a homicide victim. Detectives investigated the homicide with the assistance of the Chesapeake Police Department. Evidence was recovered from several scenes and multiple people were interviewed. No suspect/s were identified and the investigation went cold.
