About the Case:
On the evening of July 18, 2010, Alissa Johnson was standing outside an apartment in Cogic Square when multiple shots were fired. Johnson was struck by one of the bullets and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second victim self-transported himself to Obici hospital for medical treatment. Witnesses describe a black male wearing all black flee from the scene. Johnson may have been an unintended victim. Information was received that the shooting was retaliatory.
