About the Case:
On New Year’s Day at about 3AM, police responded to the 400 block of Linden Avenue for multiple reports of shots fired. Callers reported that there was a shooting victim being transported to the hospital by family. Carlton Richard Holland Jr., a.k.a. “CJ” 31 yrs. old, was transported to the hospital where he died of his wounds, a gunshot to the chest. CJ had been at a New Year’s Eve party on Linden Ave. Persons of interest were identified but not enough information was obtained to make any arrests.Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk Police or Suffolk Crime Line.
