About the Case:

On Friday, August 12, 1989 at approximately 1:45 pm, the body of Morriel McClain was found deceased in his home located in the 3600 block of Smokey Chamber Drive which is in the Chimney Hill neighborhood. Witnesses described seeing a black male at the victim’s house the day before. He looked to be in his mid 20’s who stood about six feet tall, muscular build with short black hair. He was dressed in a red jumpsuit with a round red and white patch on the front pocket. This person is considered a person of interest and was seen putting on a dark blue or black baseball style hat before he left in his vehicle. He was seen driving a new model red Dodge Shadow. The cause of death was a gunshot wound and the manner ruled a homicide. Investigators have been able to determine Mr. McCain was last seen on August 10, 1989 at around 4:00 pm. The victim also had a moustache and goatee.
